Lifting Threads – Advanced Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation
What Are Lifting Threads?
Lifting threads are minimally invasive medical sutures designed to lift, reposition, and tighten sagging skin without surgery. These threads—commonly made of PDO (Polydioxanone), PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid), or PCL (Polycaprolactone)—are inserted beneath the skin to provide an immediate lifting effect while stimulating collagen production for long-term rejuvenation.
This treatment bridges the gap between non-invasive cosmetic procedures and surgical facelifts, offering natural-looking results with minimal recovery time.
Thread lift are minimal invasive procedure that is suitable for both men and women. This is where sutures like material is placed under the skin to provide an instant lift to saggy skin on the face, neck and body.
The PDO threads provide an immediate lift and also stimulate collagen production. The threads are biodegradable and will gradually dissolve over time.
How Lifting Threads Work
Mechanical Lift (Immediate Effect)
Specialized barbed or cog threads anchor into the soft tissue, creating an instant repositioning of sagging skin. This improves facial contours, tightens loose skin, and restores youthful definition.
Collagen Induction (Long-Term Effect)
After placement, the threads trigger a natural healing response. The body produces new collagen, elastin, and fibrin around the threads’ structure, reinforcing the lift and improving skin elasticity over time.
Gradual Dissolution
While the threads dissolve slowly over several months, the new collagen network they generate continues to support the skin for 12–24 months, depending on thread type.
